The theme for this year's Staycation Spring Break Art Camps is "Under the Sea." We’ll explore the galleries, experiment with different media in the classroom each day, and spend some time outdoors to soak up some sunshine Vitamin D. This art camp is for children in kindergarten through 7th grade. Campers will be placed in different age groups, and all activities will be age appropriate. Hands-on art activities, games, snacks are provided. Art camp is 9 am-4 pm, but half-day options of 9 am-noon or 1-4 pm are available. While school will be out, you may not be off work so we'll have free early drop-off at 8 am and late pick-up at 5 pm. Please pack your child’s lunch if they are coming for a full day, or you can purchase lunch with your registration. AMA members get discounts, and scholarships are available. Go >

After School Art Club meets in the AMA Classroom on the last Monday of the month from September through May (there is no December class). The Monday sessions are geared toward middle and high school students. Courses begin with a focus on building fundamental drawing skills. Students will be taught basic techniques, such as shading, controlling tones, composition, and drawing methods. This will progress to learning how to recreate an image on paper using pencils, charcoal, chalk pastels, and/or oil pastels. Go >
